Sam the Praying Mantis

Wednesday morning on our way into the preschool, Mrs. Schultz looked down and saw a HUGE praying mantis. Mrs. Wells said, "I MUST have this!" Mrs. Wells being much much braver than Mrs. Schultz, went and got her trusty bug house and poking stick. She gently guided the praying mantis into the house with the stick as Mrs. Schultz stood behind her jumping and saying, "Don't let it get on you!!!" After we caught the praying matis, Mrs. Schultz made Mrs. Wells promise to let him go back to his family. The children loved seeing the praying mantis. We hope you enjoy the pictures also.

Listening Ears

This week we've been learning about the preschool rules that keep us safe. Today we talked about using our listening ears. See how cute the children look wearing their "listening ears". By the way, I have extra ears if you know someone who could use a pair.

First Day Of Preschool

Monday, August 11, 2008 was our first day of school. Everyone came in with big smiles and we had a great day. We learned all about our new friends, our new classroom and especially about our new playground!! We read The Kissing Hand, painted and played in centers. Ask your child about how they can keep your kiss with them all day. Enjoy the pictures of our friends coming to school
